Live Oak Music & Arts Foundation 

Programs include but are not limited to providing instructional workshops, music camps, public presentations, competitions, and public performances of music and other art forms. In addition, LOMAF provides instruments and supplies, tuition assistance, and artist retreats for the study and advancement of music and other art forms in the North Florida community

Live Oak Music & Arts Foundation Inc (EIN: 593699314) receives 501(c)3 status as a member in good standing of the Folk Alliance International Group Exemption Umbrella Program. Group Exemption Number (GEN) 8047.  For verification, donors should consult IRS Publication 78, Cumulative List of Organizations described in Section 170(c) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 or click here for a copy of the group exemption letter from Folk Alliance International.
 

 

One program that LOMAF helps fund is Suwannee Spirit Kids Music Camp. Which is  a free three-day music weekend for kids ages 5- 17. Children receive instruction in fiddle, guitar, banjo, mandolin, harmonica, ukulele , vocals, and hand drums and are treated to four two-hour lessons, a tee shirt making arts and craft session, a Friday evening dinner and a Sunday afternoon concert showcasing the children’s new accomplishments.

Instructors are experienced musicians who have given their time and energy to ensure that this event continues to effect the live of young people in our community.
